Worked good for awhile Aroma Digital Rice Cooker and Food Steamer
Just what I ordered! Makes cooking fast, easy, and healthy. I love that I can cook a variety of things through one device. I highly approve! The rice cooked perfectly in this unit. It does stink that you can't see the rice while it cooks. You have to trust that when the lcd stops running in circles and the timer runs out, that it's really done.

The alarm is very loud and will definitely get you out of bed, but the running function does not work at all. Just sits there and alarms. Apparently I got a defective one.

My initial review still stands although I have grown more used to the sound of the alarm and it doesn't scare me awake like it used to. Also the battery life is considerably longer than I previously thought. After a few weeks the LCD starts flashing that the battery is low but it will last in this state for months without fail.
